APHSA and NASCCA submit comments on the second version of the CCDF state plan pre-print.
On April 11, the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA) and the National Association of State Child Care Administrators (NASCCA) submitted a letter to the Office of Management and Budget in response to a notice in the Federal Register (78 FR 11890-11891) regarding the February 20 release of the second draft version of the FY 2014-2015 Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Plan for States and Territories, also known as the ACF-118 form.
The APHSA and NASCCA comments letter responded to the Office of Child Care's (OCC) second round of revisions to the pre-print. The second round of changes to the document incorporates feedback from states, which were included in the initial letter that APHSA and NASCCA sent to the OCC on the first round of changes. The comments include requests for clarification and feedback from state child care administrators. APHSA and NASCCA held an all-state call providing an analysis and review of the second round of changes, especially those that were modified as a result of the November 2 comments letter to the OCC. The April 11 letter can be found on NASCCA's web site at http://www.aphsa.org/Home/Doc/FY2014-2015-CCDF-State-Pre-Print-OMB_3-28-13.pdf
