APERTUS TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES RESELLER AGREEMENT WITH WALL DATA; APERTUS ADDS WALL DATA PRODUCTS TO ITS PORTFOLIO OF NETWORKING SOLUTIONS

 EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., Dec. 1 ~PRNewswire~ -- Apertus Technologies Incorporated (NASDAQ: APTS), developer and marketer of internetworking products, today announced it has signed a strategic marketing agreement with Wall Data Incorporated of Redmond, Wash. Under the terms of the agreement, Apertus will resell Wall Data's RUMBA(R) connectivity software for Windows and OS~2, for use with its Datastar high- performance communications products, providing its users with a complete internetworking solution.
 The full Apertus product line includes a series of gateway and terminal networking products. The gateway products provide interoperability between TCP~IP and IBM 3270 hosts, connect SNA LANs to IBM host environments via SDLC or channel connections, and connect Digital Equipment terminals to SNA environments. The terminal networking products allow the connection of synchronous and asynchronous terminals to TCP~IP-based, and SNA-based Ethernet or Token Ring LANs, and offer large capacity and industry leading price~performance.
