 APACHE ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT MOVES
 HOUSTON, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Apache Corp. (NYSE: APA) today


announced four management moves related to its wholly owned subsidiary, Apache International Inc.
 Michael R. Clary was named general manager - Australia/Indonesia/Myanmar of Apache International. Clary, who has relocated to Singapore, was previously vice president of international exploration and production.
 Richard E. Church was promoted to vice president of exploration - Apache International at Apache's headquarters in Houston. Church previously held the position of exploration manager - Apache International.
 Michael W. Stewart, who has been Apache's mid-continent region production manager in Tulsa, Okla., was named vice president of operations - Apache International.
 Rodney S. Myers was promoted to Apache Corp.'s mid-continent region production manager in Tulsa. Previously, he was manager of production engineering for the mid-continent.
 Apache Corp. is an independent energy company engaged in the exploration for and development and production of natural gas and crude oil. The company's securities are traded on the New York and Midwest Stock Exchanges (symbol: APA).
