AOL receives network services from Level 3.

TELECOMWORLDWIRE-28 October 2003-AOL receives network services from Level 3(C)1994-2003 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Communications and information services company Level 3 Communications Inc is set to provide extra services to interactive services company America Online Inc following a recently signed agreement.

Level 3 will supply its colocation services as well as 10GB/s wavelength circuits and metropolitan dark fiber to America Online in the US and Europe. America Online will integrate the extra services into its ATDN IP network in a bid to improve the standard of its services that are on offer to its subscribers.

The financial terms of the agreement were not revealed.
