ANNE STREET NAMED DIRECTOR OF ENERGY PROGRAMS, DYNCORP'S GOVERNMENT SERVICES GROUP

RESTON, Va., May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- DynCorp, a diversified professional and technical services firm, announced today that K. Anne Street has joined the company's Government Services Group as director of energy programs.
Street will develop and manage the company's pursuit of large energy-related maintenance and operation contracts. To that end she will be responsible for strategic planning, developing inter-company alliances, and creating strategic partnerships with outside firms. In November 1992 DynCorp was the successful senior shareholder in DynMcDermott Petroleum Operations Co., which won a $630 million Department of Energy (DOE) contract to manage and operate the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR), the nation's emergency oil stockpile. In addition, DynCorp-Meridian, a company subsidiary headquartered in Alexandria, Va., provides engineering and technical services, economic analysis, and management support to the Department of Energy.
According to GSG President Paul Lombardi, DynCorp is aggressively pursuing new opportunities in the energy arena. "We have been looking for a leader for these initiatives for some time and we were delighted to find someone of Anne's caliber and experience."
Street has 20 years of experience in energy-related engineering and construction, research and development. Most recently she was vice president of both DOE Programs and Business Development for the Battelle Memorial Institute. In that capacity she developed and managed the business strategy that moved Battelle into the DOE technical support services market. Prior to Battelle, Street held a number of executive management, sales, and marketing positions with such companies as the Parsons Corporation, MK-Ferguson Company, and Fluor Engineers.
A graduate of MIT with a B.S. in Metallurgy and Materials Science and a Master's Degree in Ocean Engineering, Street is a member of the Marine Technology Society, the American Nuclear Society, the American Society for Metals, and the MIT Visiting Committee for the Department of Materials Science and Engineering.
DynCorp provides diversified professional and technical services to customers in U.S. and foreign government agencies and in the commercial aviation industry. With 20,000 employees and more than $911 million in annual revenues, DynCorp is one of the largest majority employee-owned companies in the nation.
