FORMER world chess champ Garry Kasparov was arrested in Moscow last week as thousands protested against President Putin. The police say he was quite easy to catch as he can only move diagonally.

I once took Kasparov out for a restaurant review? Total nightmare. Took him 45 minutes to pass the salt.

An opera singer who belted out the Croatian national anthem at Wembley last week mixed up "kura" with "kuda" and sang 'My penis is a mountain' instead of 'How we love your mountains'. Still, no harm done. And at least we now know the Croatian expression for Gary Lineker.

That Cambodian boy whose best friend is an 18ft python. Am I alone in thinking we're going to read a follow-up story sometime soon...?
