ANALYSTS INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION TO SPLIT SHARES, INCREASE DIVIDEND

MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Analysts International Corporation (NASDAQ: ANLY) announced today that its board of directors has declared a three-for-two split of the company's common stock to be effected in the form of a 50 percent stock dividend. The stock dividend will be distributed on Sept. 30, 1993, to shareholders of record on Sept. 8, 1993.
The directors also voted to increase the regular quarterly dividend on the new shares by 20 percent to 12 cents, payable Nov. 15, 1993, to shareholders of record on Oct. 29. This would be the equivalent of 18 cents per share if the stock had not been split.
The company currently has 4,709,427 shares of common stock outstanding.
"The increased dividend reflects the company's outstanding growth in fiscal 1993 and our policy of sharing these gains with shareholders," said Frederick W. Lang, chairman and CEO. "We believe the stock split will enhance liquidity and keep the stock price in an attractive range for our investors."
