ANA PLAYS A ROUND.

Byline: NEIL McLEMAN

ANA IVANOVIC has joined Chris Evert and Martina Hingis by playing a love match with a top golfer.

The Serb, whose form has suffered since splitting up with Fernando Verdasco, has been cheered on in her last two victories by Aussie Adam Scott. Before facing favourite Venus Williams in today's fourth round, the 21-year-old refused to deny there was romance in the Wimbledon air. "I wouldn't like to comment on that," she said coyly. "It is great to see familiar faces in your box when you look for support."

Former world No.1 Hingis dated Sergio Garcia while Greg Norman finish tied third at the Open last year shortly after marrying Chris Evert.

However, Scott has dropped from No.3 to No.44 in the world rankings.

And Ivanovic is No.13 seed this year after being the top seed in 2008.
