HOLLAND - James P. LaMountain of Holland has been ordered by Suffolk Superior Court Judge Charles T. Spurlock to pay a $50,000 civil penalty for violating the Wetlands Protection Act at 72 Huguenot Road in Oxford. If Mr. LaMountain completes all wetlands restoration by the fall, then $25,000 of the payment will be waived. The court order is a result of a settlement agreement entered into by Mr. LaMountain and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. A story was published in the Telegram & Gazette yesterday about the court order to restore the damaged wetlands.
