A story in last week's Sunday Telegram on talks between CSX Corp. and the state of Massachusetts about the possible state purchase
of a stretch of rail line from the company included details of an
agreement between CSX and the Florida Department of Transportation that
were attributed to the Tampa Tribune. According to Florida officials,
the Tribune misstated the agreement. The officials say the agreement
stipulates that in the case of an accident, each side will be liable for
damage to its own property and passengers, regardless of fault.
