AMP3.COM Set to Webcast Woodstock '99 Using Microsoft Windows Media Technologies.


AMP3.COM, LLC, a pioneer in digital music distribution, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Woodstock '99 LLC to provide webcasting and downloading content of the Woodstock '99 Festival.

Scheduled for July 23-25, the Woodstock '99 Festival will have an estimated attendance of more than 250,000. Woodstock '99 has already surpassed industry records for first day, single event ticket sales.

"The roster of top talent scheduled to perform at Woodstock '99 is second to none," said Michael Sharp, president of AMP3.COM. "AMP3.COM is excited to present artists like Alanis Morissette, Jewel, Metallica, Los Lobos and Ice Cube."

AMP3.COM will also present the digital demonstration pavilion and the Emerging Artists Stage showcasing undiscovered bands. The pavilion will feature streams and downloads of undiscovered artists utilizing Microsoft's Windows Media Technologies including Microsoft's new Digital Rights Management solution.
