AMOCO STATIONS OFFER SPECIAL HOLIDAY PROMOTION
IN CONJUNCTION WITH CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Motorists can help Florida hospitalized children and stuff their own children's holiday stockings with a special holiday promotion at participating Amoco stations.
In conjunction with the Children's Miracle Network, participating Amoco Florida dealers and jobbers are offering a selection of popular movies in videocassettes for $6.99 each. Many of the 10 selections are geared to children and the holiday season.
Fort Lauderdale Amoco District Manager Jim Robbins noted: "These movies are typically available at video stores for $10 and up. We think they are an outstanding bargain for holiday shoppers. And for each video sold, $1 will go to support the Children's Miracle Network locally."
No additional purchase is required. The holiday offer will be available from Nov. 25 through the end of December.
The 10 movies are "A Christmas Carol," "The Christmas Gift," "The Berenstein Bears' Christmas Tree," "Ninja Turtles Concert Tour," "Little House on the Prairie: The Christmas They Never Forgot," "Care Bears: Nutcracker Suite," "Lucy's Lost Episodes," "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," "Neighbors," and "Absence of Malice."
The Children's Miracle Network is a nonprofit organization that improves the quality of health care available to children at Miami Children's Hospital, All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, The University Medical Center in Jacksonville, Shand's Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville, and the Children's Hospital at Sacred Heart in Pensacola.
