AMEX TO TRADE OPTIONS ON TELEMATICS INTERNATIONAL, INC.
NEW YORK, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange today said it will open put and call options trading on the over-the-counter stock of Telematics International, Inc. (option/stock symbol: TQM/TMAX) on Friday, August 27. Specialists in the option will be G-BAR Limited Partnership. Based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Telematics International designs, manufactures and markets high-performance networking and communications products for voice and data communications applications worldwide. The company's product includes both hardware and software, specifically for intelligent mission-critical wide area networks. TQM will open with strike prices of 10, 12-1/2 and 15, and position limits of 5,500 contracts. Initial expiration months will be September, October and November of 1993 and February of 1994. The Amex trades a total of 338 stock options, including 93 options on over-the-counter stocks, as well as 43 LEAPS(tm) (Long-term Equity AnticiPation Securities)(tm).
