AMEX TO TRADE OPTIONS ON EMPRESAS ICA SOCIEDAD CONTROLADORA, S.A. de C.V.
NEW YORK, Nov. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange today said it will open options trading on the listed stock of Empresas ICA Sociedad Controladora, S.A. de C.V. (NYSE: ICA) on Monday, Nov. 22, 1993. As the largest construction firm in Mexico, Empresas ICA provides construction and related services for the Mexican public and private sectors. It also constructs, maintains and operates highways, bridges and tunnels under concessions granted by the Mexican Government. In addition, it produces industrial goods, and owns and operates hotels. ICA will open with strike prices of 17-1/2, 20 and 22-1/2, and position limits of 3,000 contracts. Initial expiration months will be December of 1993, and January, April and July of 1994. GHM, Inc. is the specialist unit for the new options. The Amex trades a total of 354 stock options, including 99 options on over-the-counter stocks, as well as 44 LEAPS(R).
