 AMEX TO OPEN OPTIONS TRADING ON MARVEL ENTERTAINMENT GROUP
 NEW YORK, March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange today


said that tomorrow, March 11, it will open put and call options on the listed stock of Marvel Entertainment Group, Inc. (symbol: MRV).
 Headquartered in New York, Marvel Entertainment is the largest creator and publisher of comic books and other action/adventure material in North America.
 "MRV" will open with strike prices of 22-1/2, 25, and 30, and position limits of 3,000 contracts. Initial expiration months will be April, May, July and October of 1992. Spear, Leeds & Kellogg has been designated the specialist unit for the new options.
 The AMEX trades a total of 275 stock options, including 81 over-the- counter stocks. In addition, options are traded on five broad market indexes -- the Major Market Index (XMI), XMI LEAPS(TM) Index (XLT), S&P Midcap 400 Index (MID), Institutional Index (XII) and Japan Index (JPN), as well as two industry-based indexes -- the Oil Index (XOI) and Computer Technology Index (XCI). CAPS -- capped options -- are traded on XMI and XII as well. The Exchange also trades 29 LEAPS(TM) on leading stocks which have expirations up to almost three years.
