AMEX BEGINS TRADING OPTIONS ON BOSTON TECHNOLOGY, INC.
NEW YORK, March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange today opened put and call options trading on the over-the-counter stock of Boston Technology, Inc. (options symbol: BEQ). Based in Wakefield, Mass., Boston Technology manufactures, markets and supports a broad range of telephone voice processing systems. The company's products provide advanced telephone messaging such as voice mail, call answering, automated attendant, call delivery and audiotext. BEQ opened with strike prices of 7-1/2, 10 and 12-1/2 and position limits of 8,000 contracts. Initial expiration months are March, April, July and October of 1993. GHM, Inc. is the specialist unit for the new options. The Amex trades a total of 305 stock options, including 86 options on over-the-counter stocks, as well as 41 LEAPS(tm) (Long-term Equity AnticiPation Securities).
