WASHINGTON, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- American Women in Radio and Television, Inc. (AWRT) has announced the annual "Call for Entries" for its 19th Annual National Commendation Awards. The awards recognize programming and advertising that treat roles and issues of concern to women in a positive and realistic manner.
"For over 42 years, AWRT has worked to improve the quality of the electronic media and the image of women as depicted in radio and television," stated National AWRT President Sondra Lee, Executive Vice President, SA Communication Services, Louisville, Ky.
