AMERICAN TEMPERATURE CONTROL, INC. ANNOUNCES NEW MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS STRATEGY

 HOUSTON, Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- American Temperature Control, Inc. today announced that Thomas W. Fawell and other investors have purchased a majority ownership in American Temperature Control, Inc.
 Thomas W. Fawell will assume the position of president and director of American Temperature Control, Inc.; Harold Kintz, chairman of the board; and Claire Wyckoff, vice president, secretary and director.
 The company also announced that it is negotiating with Ultrasoft, Inc., to acquire certain rights to sell, service and distribute a revolutionary high-speed, multi-user, multi-tasking, operating system that was developed principally by Kintz. This system allows 100 separate users, such as dumb terminals and/or PCs, to operate from a single standard PC without networking. It also has the capabilities of clustering and networking groups of 100 users via standard RS-232 and has connectivity to other existing networking structures.
 The new operating system is compatible with most DOS programs and can work with text or graphics on any 386 PC and upward.
 "Because this new operating system is multi-user, multi-tasking, its capabilities provide the company with a unique strategic position in the computer industry,'' said Thomas W. Fawell, president and director, American Temperature Control, Inc.
 The company has also negotiated with Ultrasoft the right to finalize and sell an innovative fiber optic board that allows up to 256 users per board. It also operates at BAUD rates well beyond current industry standards and can become the bridge between many other platforms.
 In keeping with its new strategic focus, the company plans to change its name to Connectivity and Technologies, Inc.
 American Temperature Control, Inc. also announced that it has moved its corporate headquarters to Houston, Texas from Miami, Fla.
