 NEW YORK, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Prices on the American Stock


Exchange closed mixed today in active trading. The Amex Market Value Index closed up 0.30 to 385.66. Declines led advances 275 to 262 with 235 issues unchanged. The average price per share rose one cent.
 Stock volume for the regular session totaled 15,526,705 shares, down from the 13,412,360 shares traded yesterday. There was no after-hours trading activity today.
 Topping the most active list was Davstar Industries, down 7/8 to 12 on 540,300 shares, followed by IVAX, up 1-3/8 to 34-1/8 on 497,800 shares. The third most active issue, InterDigital Communications was up 1/2 to 7-1/2 on 470,200 shares.

 Today's cumulative volume in the Emerging Company Marketplace (ECM) totaled 306,400 shares. The most actively traded stock on the ECM was AUDRE Recognition Systems, Inc., unchanged at 3-1/8 on 81,700 shares.
 Trading in options was moderate today with 177,201 contracts changing hands as compared with 158,894 contracts traded yesterday. Calls were higher as puts traded lower.
 Topping the most active list in puts was the Wells Fargo December 75 series, down 2-3/4 to 3-5/8 on 5,010 contracts, followed by the Intel December 40 series, unchanged at 1/16 on 2,500 contracts. The third most active was the U.S. Surgical December 60 series down 7/8 to 2 on 1,396 contracts.
 Topping the most active list in calls was the Wells Fargo December 75 series, up 7/8 to 2-1/4 on 5,174 contracts, followed by the Wheelabrator January 40 series down 7/16 to 15/16 on 2,713 contracts. The third most active was the Wheelabrator January 35 series, down 3/4 to 3-7/8 on 2,700 contracts.

 Standard & Poor's MidCap Index: up .76 to 151.34. Contracts volume 4,858, with 1,500 puts and 3,358 calls.
