 AMERICAN SOFTWARE ENTERS NEW PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM WITH IBM
 ATLANTA, March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- American Software (NASDAQ: AMSWA) announced today its participation in IBM's Cooperative Software Program.
 The Cooperative Software Program allows IBM marketing representatives to market software solutions developed by non-IBM sources.
 American Software's suite of distribution management and logistics products are now available through this program and are available on ES/9000(TM) or AS/400(TM) platforms. The products provide complete application solutions for medium to large scale distributors and address the purchasing, inventory, order processing, forecasting and other material management needs of wholesale distributors and retailers.
 According to American Software Vice President of Marketing Paul DiBono, the Cooperative Software Program allows the company to offer customers the best possible solutions for their business requirements.
