PRINCETON, N.J., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- AM-RE SERVICES, INC., a subsidiary of American Re-Insurance Company, has entered into a strategic relationship agreement with Environmental Management Strategies, Inc., (EMS), announced Paul Inderbitzin, president of American Re-Insurance Company.

"American Re ultimately hopes to reduce the cost and liabilities associated with site contamination from PAHs," said Stuart W. In addition to its conventional environmental remediation and construction capabilities, EMS has a unique core technology which effectively bio- degrades complex organic compounds. McNeil, the enhanced bioremediation technology offers clients a substantial reduction in both cleanup costs and liabilities associated with complex hazardous compounds such as PAHs. "In conjunction with AM- RE SERVICES, we are targeting the former manufactured gas plants of which there are more than 2,000 sites around the country. EMS's onsite remediation technology can reduce cleanup costs by anywhere from 25 to 75 percent.
