 AMERICAN METALS SERVICE ANNOUNCES DEATH
 OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
 MIAMI, May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- American Metals Service, Inc. (OTC: AMTS) announced the death of Mr. Armando Riesgo, the company's chief executive officer and chairman of the board. Mr. Riesgo died on the evening of May 6, 1992 as the result of a brain tumor diagnosed in 1991. He was 61 years old.
 The company is a wholesale distributor of aluminum alloys and other specially metals, and was organized under the laws of the state of Florida in 1968. The company's common stock has traded on the over-the-counter market since October 1980.
