AMERICAN LEGION SUPPORTS PATRIOT MISSILE RESOLUTION

AMERICAN LEGION SUPPORTS PATRIOT MISSILE RESOLUTION
BALTIMORE, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Legion, State of

Maryland, Inc., passed a resolution calling for support of Rep. Helen Delich Bentley's (R-Md.) proposed resolution to maintain production of the Patriot Missile System in the United States.
The proposed plan to transfer technology and production rights for the Patriot Missile System to Germany and the computer software and components to Japan will allow them to develop a production base to sell Patriot Systems to other world nations that are not necessarily friendly to U.S. interests and will result in creating unemployment and dissolution of our trained workforce, the Legion said.
Commander Robert K. Bowman called upon all Americans to write to their congressmen and senators to support Bentley's resolution.
