AMERICAN GENERAL INCREASES COMMON DIVIDEND
AMERICAN GENERAL INCREASES COMMON DIVIDEND HOUSTON, Feb. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- American General's (NYSE: AGC) board
of directors today announced an increase in the quarterly common dividend from $.50 to $.52 per share, payable March 1, 1992 to shareholders of record on Feb. 14, 1992. This brings the indicated annual rate to $2.08 per share.
The dividend payable March 1, 1992 will be the company's 253rd consecutive quarterly dividend paid and represents the 17th consecutive annual increase in the regular dividend rate.
