 SECAUCUS, N.J., Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- American Design Corp.


(NASDAQ: AMDC), a New Jersey-based distributor of other entities' excess and obsolete inventories of electromechanical and electronic components and finished goods, announced today its financial results for the six months ended Oct. 31, 1991.
 The company reported net sales of $3,627,000 for the six months ended Oct. 31, 1991 as compared to $3,311,000 for the six months ended Oct. 31, 1990. The net loss for the six months ended Oct. 31, 1991 was $255,000 which consisted of the loss of $150,000 from its discontinued operations and a loss from continuing operations of $105,000, or a loss per share of 6 cents and 4 cents respectively, compared to a net loss in the prior year's six month period of $172,000 or a loss of 8 cents per share.
