Gary Gelman, chairman of the board and chief executive officer, stated that revenues for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 1992, were lower than anticipated due to a decline in the number of hospital bills referred for audit by its largest client. Operating earnings continue to be impacted by increased sales and marketing expenditures as well as increases in fees paid to Registered Nurse Evaluators.
