 AMERICAN CLAIMS ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT OF CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
 JERICHO, N.Y., Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Gary Gelman, president and chief executive officer of American Claims Evaluation, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: AMCE) today announced the resignation and retirement of Robert E. Lindberg, chief operating officer and executive vice president, for health reasons. He stated that Lindberg wished the company the best of continuing success but unfortunately he had to retire due to failing health and was relocating to Florida. In addition, Gelman stated he will assume the duties of Lindberg as chief operating officer.
 Gelman also announced the promotion of Gary J. Knauer, the company's controller, as treasurer and chief financial officer. Knauer, a certified public accountant, had been a senior manager with the firm of KPMG Peat Marwick prior to joining the company.
 American Claims Evaluation, Inc. is a health care cost containment services company in the business of verifying the accuracy of hospital bills throughout the United States submitted to its clients for payment: such clients include commercial health insurance companies, third party administrators, health maintenance organizations and self-insured corporate clients. The company's services are designed to enable its clients to pay to for those medical services that were actually provided to the patient.
