AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Among the events scheduled for Friday are the following:
 - J. Michael McWilliams, ABA president, will hold a news
 conference at 2 p.m. in Liberty C of the Sheraton Boston.
 - Wayne Budd will address a 12:30 p.m. luncheon of the Young
 Lawyers Division in Salon F of the Marriott Copley Plaza.
 - Partnership Awards recognizing public service projects
 serving children, the homeless and victims of hate crimes
 will awarded at a noon luncheon in the Republic Ballroom of
 the Sheraton Boston.
 - Public hearings on legal practice by nonlawyers will be held
 from 1:30 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Harvard Room of
 the Marriott Copley Place.
 - "The Recession: Who It Hits, Who It Hurts and What to Do"
 will be presented from 10:15 a.m. to noon in Beacon C of
 the Sheraton Boston.
 - "Responding to the Criminal Justice Crisis" will be
 presented in Beacon F of the Sheraton Boston from 10:15 a.m. to
 noon.
 - The ABA Board of Governors will meet from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 in the Commonwealth Room of the Sheraton Boston.
 - The "Future of Nuclear Power" will be discussed at a program
 from 9 a.m. to noon in Room 200 of the Hynes Convention Center.
 - "Women Rainmakers: Practical Rainmaking" will be the subject
 of a program from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Essex Ballroom of the
 Westin Copley Place.
 - The Death Penalty: Can it be Fairly Administered?" will be
 the subject of a program from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Hyannis
 Room of the Marriott Copley Place.
 - There will be a "Breast Cancer Roundtable Meeting" sponsored by
 the Commission on Women in the Profession from 4 to 6 p.m. in
 Fairfax A of the Sheraton Boston.
 ABA media credentials are required to cover all events at the Midyear Meeting. They may be obtained in the News Center, which is located in Exhibit Hall D (third floor) of the Hynes Convention Center. A complete listing of all programs and events at the Midyear Meeting also is available in the News Center, which will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
