AMERICAN AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT ELECTED PRESIDENT OF OICA

 WASHINGTON, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Thomas H. Hanna, president and chief executive officer of the American Automobile Manufacturers Association (AAMA), has been elected president of the Organization Internationale des Constructeurs D'Automobiles (OICA), it was announced today.
 OICA, a Paris-based organization comprised of the national trade associations of motor vehicle manufacturers throughout the world, represents the common views of its members on technical vehicle regulations, and other socio-economic or industrial policies impacting the manufacture and use of motor vehicles, before intergovernmental and international bodies, including the United Nations. Hanna has served as the organization's first vice president since 1991. He was elected president at an OICA General Assembly meeting held June 8 in Amsterdam.
 AAMA is the trade association for U.S. car and light truck manufacturers. Its members are Chrysler Corporation (NYSE: C), Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) and General Motors Corporation (NYSE: GM).
