AMERICAN AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURERS ASSN. ON NISSAN PATHFINDER RULING

WASHINGTON, May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The following statement was issued by Thomas H. Hanna, president and chief executive officer of the American Automobile Manufacturers Association on the Court of International Trade decision on the Nissan Pathfinder case:
We are obviously disappointed and disagree with Judge Restani's decision. Multipurpose vehicles (MPVs) are designed, produced, regulated, and reported for sales purposes, as light trucks. We will decide what future action to take after we've had a chance to review the decision.
