AMD (NYSE:AMD), a microprocessor solutions company, today (10 January) announced the immediate availability of the AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 dual-core processor.

Velocity Micro is among the first computer manufacturers to provide its customers a PC system powered by an AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 dual-core processor, AMD said.

The AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 dual-core processor is available immediately worldwide. It is priced at USD1,031 in 1,000-unit PIB quantities.
