Never be afraid to take on new challenges, even in unfamiliar areas, she said. She has succeeded, she said, because it never occurred to her to fear that she couldn't do assigned tasks. "I just did what I had to do" she said.
Before becoming deputy AMC commander, Szymanski served as AMC command counsel. Previously, she held a number of military legal positions, including chief counsel for the Army Communications-Electronic Command.
