AMC FASHION ISLAND 16 THEATERS GRAND OPENING MAY 12 TO BENEFIT DON SHULA FOUNDATION FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH

MIAMI, April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- AMC Fashion Island 16 Theaters will host a grand opening event on Wednesday, May 12, with all proceeds from the evening benefiting the Don Shula Foundation for breast cancer research. AMC's Movie Paradise at Fashion Island will feature a premier event screening of a major motion picture and selected films for the evening, along with a catered gala reception and dancing, all for a cost of $15 per person.
This is the first event to benefit the Don Shula Foundation following the highly successful Shula Celebrity Classic in February, which raised over $500,000 for breast cancer research. According to Coach Don Shula, "I am very pleased that AMC Theaters has joined the fight against breast cancer research, and I encourage people in our community to join us for this festive evening."
The Fashion Island 16 Theaters are located in Loehmann's Plaza at 18741 Biscayne Boulevard in North Miami Beach. The evening will begin at 7 p.m. with a catered gala reception, followed by the motion picture at 8 p.m., and entertainment and dancing at 10 p.m.
Founded in 1990, the Don Shula Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding a cure for breast cancer.
To RSVP for the event, call the Don Shula Foundation at 305-669-0766.
