 AMBASE NAMES NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
 MORRISTOWN, N.J., Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- AmBase Corporation


(NYSE: ABC) announced today that Neil L. Cohen has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer of the company. The appointment of Cohen has been approved by the Office of Thrift Supervision.
 Prior to assuming his new position at AmBase, Cohen had been with Dillon, Read & Co. Inc. since 1986 where he specialized in principal transactions, leveraged finance and restructurings. Prior to joining Dillon Read, Cohen was with Blyth Eastman Paine Webber, Inc. where he specialized in housing and mortgage finance.
 Cohen is a graduate of The John Hopkins University where he received a bachelor's of engineering sciences in mathematical sciences. He also holds an M.S. in management from the MIT-Sloan School of Management. Cohen resides in New York City.
