AM to visit St Athan and take to the air.

Laura Anne Jones AM was today due to visit the University of Wales Air Squadron based at MOD St Athan.

She was due to meet Air Officer Wales, Air Commodore Peter Whalley and students from the Squadron before taking to the air in a Grob Tutor aircraft.

The flight was to enable her to experience at first hand the opportunities open to University Air Squadron students and members of the Air Training Corps in Wales.

The flight will also enable Ms Jones to view the St Athan site from the air.
