ALLIANCE NORTHWEST INDUSTRIES SUBSIDIARY TO SEEK NEW PRESIDENT

 SEATTLE, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Alliance Northwest Industries, Inc. today announced that Phillip R. Alexander, the president of its principal subsidiary, Seattle Lighting Fixture Co., has resigned to pursue other interests. The company's chairman, Michael Fourticq, has temporarily assumed the title of president while the company conducts an executive search. Fourticq stated, "We appreciate the contributions made by Mr. Alexander during his period of service to the company and wish him well in his new endeavors. We are pleased that he will be continuing to serve the stockholders as a director of the company." Fourticq noted that the remainder of the company's management team remains intact and that he is optimistic that this management transition will be smooth.
