ALL AMERICAN ANNOUNCES RECORD HIGH QUARTER
ALL AMERICAN ANNOUNCES RECORD HIGH QUARTER MIAMI, May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- All American Semiconductor, Inc.
(NASDAQ: SEMI), a national distributor of electronic components, today announced that unaudited sales for the first quarter of 1992 exceeded $12.1 million which is larger than any quarter in the company's history.
Commenting on the sales figures, Paul Goldberg, chairman of All American, said, "We were pleased to have achieved this sales level despite all of the disturbances relating to the completion of our headquarters relocation and the consolidation of our warehouse operations. As a result of the move, we have been able to increase operating efficiencies. Additionally, now that we are in our new facility, we will be able to expand our customer services as well as improve quality control programs and inventory management. Furthermore, we now have the flexibility needed to accommodate our future growth." Sales information remains subject to adjustments in connection with the preparation of the company's form 10-Q for the first quarter of 1992. Additionally, sales are not an indication of profitability. All American was ranked as the nation's 24th largest distributor of electronic components with 11 offices throughout the country. -0- 5/1/92 /CONTACT: Bruce M.
