ALI-ABA accepting nominations for continuing education award.
The award committee is looking for outstanding contributions in the form of publications, lectures, creation or administration of programs. The award committee will consider not only recent specific contributions, but contributions over a period of time and career achievements. Activities to be considered are not restricted to sponsored entities or by residence of the candidates.
Nominations should be forwarded as soon as possible to the Rawle Award Committee, ALI-ABA, 4025 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104-3099. All nominations must be received by Friday, March 3, 2000, and should include full background information for study by the committee.
The award, established in 1983 and named in honor of a former ABA president, consists of an inscribed medallion plaque and a framed certificate.
In addition to the Rawle Award, the award committee may also choose from the nominees the recipients of the Harrison Tweed Awards for Special Merit in CLE in recognition of significant contributions to continuing legal education at the national, state or local level, or career achievements in advancing the education of the bar.
