 SAN GABRIEL VALLEY COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERISM PROJECT
 ALHAMBRA, Calif., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- One of the nation's top Fortune 500 financial service companies will join the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce Friday to announce a valleywide volunteer project. The news conference will begin tomorrow afternoon at the Rosemont Pavilion in Pasadena at 3:30 p.m.
 Former Heisman Trophy winner and Primerica Financial Services Chief Executive Officer Peter M. Dawkins will join Alhambra Mayor Talmage Burke in unveiling a joint project to involve 1,000 people throughout the San Gabriel Valley in helping youth at risk.
 Dawkins' company will announce its involvement in an initial phase of the program which includes financial support for Alhambra's Tournament of Roses parade float and annual programs that support student scholarships. Tournament President Gary Hayward will also be present according to Chamber Executive Director Paul Talbot.
