 ALFRED BERKELEY JOINS COMSHARE'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS
 ANN ARBOR, Mich., May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Comshare, Incorporated


(NASDAQ-NMS: CSRE) announced the appointment of Alfred R. Berkeley, managing director of Alex, Brown & Sons, Incorporated, to the company's board of directors. Berkeley replaces David C.H. Stanley, who retired from the board after 12 years of service.
 Berkeley brings to Comshare's board 20 years of experience with Alex, Brown & Sons, a Baltimore-based investment banking firm, where he specializes in computer and communications companies. During a two-year leave from Alex, Brown in the late 1980s, he served as chairman of Rabbit Software Corporation, a developer of communications software.
 Berkeley is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Finance. He is a long- term member of the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA), and serves on the board of directors of other public and privately held companies in the computer industry.
