ALEXANDER HAMILTON LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY INTRODUCES
 NEW UNIVERSAL LIFE INSURANCE POLICY
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., July 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Alexander Hamilton Life has introduced a new universal life insurance policy as the company's new flagship product. Called Irresistible XTR, it appeals to a broad general audience and will be sold nationally through Hamilton's network of independent agents.
New policy features include: four death benefit options, two of which automatically increase the face amount 3 or 5 percent annually; guaranteed bonus interest in later policy years; and reduced surrender charge duration and amount.
XTR offers all the features of universal life including flexible premiums, adjustable death benefits, easy access to available cash value and strong guarantees, including a wash loan guarantee and withdrawals of up to 10 percent of available cash value without charge.
The lifetime interest guarantee is 4 percent. Hamilton's unique Twindex(R) guarantee, which links declared interest rates to Treasury Bill and Treasury Bond issue rates, assures competitive interest crediting. Guaranteed bonus interest further enhances the contract's value. After only two policy years, the interest rate credited to policies in force improves 85 basis points over new issues; after 10 years, the bonus becomes 125 basis points over new issues; and after 15 years, 165 basis points are added to the new issue rate.
The policy offers excellent cash value accumulation. Reduced surrender charge duration and amount makes more cash value available sooner. No surrender charge is assessed on partial withdrawals. Up to $25,000 or 10 percent, whichever is less, may be withdrawn annually with no reduction in death benefit (up to an aggregate of $250,000.)
An Other Insured Rider is available up to four times the base policy. With the maturity extension provision, the contract never matures -- to avoid the possibility of a taxable event if the insured lives past age 100. Under the Accelerated Death Benefit option, half the death benefit ($100,000 maximum) is provided in the event of an insured's terminal illness.
