LOS ANGELES, Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger are set to star in Largo Entertainment's "The Getaway," it was announced today by Lloyd Levin, president of production. The film will be directed by Roger Donaldson and produced by David Foster, Lawrence Turman and John Alan Simon. The screenplay, adapted from the novel by Jim Thompson, was written by Walter Hill. Principal photography on the Turman- Foster Co./Discovery Productions Inc. film is scheduled to begin in late March.
