 ALDUS, ART CENTER JOIN FORCES
 SEATTLE, April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Aldus Corp. (NASDAQ: ALDC) today


announced an industry/education partnership with Art Center College of Design to establish an educational curriculum using Aldus software. Beginning this summer, Art Center will use Aldus PageMaker, Aldus FreeHand, Aldus SuperPaint, Aldus Gallery Effects, Aldus SuperCard and Aldus Digital Darkroom in its courses.
 "By supporting Art Center we are solidifying our commitment to future graphics professionals," said Lorene Lee, Aldus marketing program manager for graphic arts products. "Aldus is dedicated to supporting graphics professionals in their careers as well as in their education programs at leading schools such as Art Center."
 Art Center, with 1,200 students at campuses in Pasadena, Calif., and La Tour-de-Peilz, Switzerland, is one of the top design schools in North America. The independent, nonprofit four-year college specializes in professional education in art and design, and has a job-placement rate of more than 80 percent in the creative field. It offers bachelor of fine arts and bachelor of science degrees in 10 majors in seven departments, including advertising, film, fine art, graphic and packaging design, illustration, industrial design and photography.

 Students will use Aldus products in the Art Center's world-class computer graphics laboratory, where they will receive hands-on experience and instruction in graphic design, photo-processing and multimedia.
