ALCO INTERNATIONAL GROUP INC. RECEIVES FDA CLEARANCE
SAN DIEGO, July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Alco International Group Inc.

(NASDAQ: ALIG) (the "company"), today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, InCoMed Inc., has received clearance from the Food and Drug Administration for the marketing of the Barrier Integrity Monitor (BIM)(TM). The BIM(TM) is a battery powered device that detects fluid contract between health care workers and patients, decreasing the risk of transmitting fluid-borne pathogens such as Staphylococcus, Hepatitis B and C viruses, as well as HIV, which is generally thought to be the cause of AIDS.
The FDA clearance sets the stage for the company to finalize marketing and distribution plans for the commercial launch of the BIM product later this year.
Alco, through its subsidiaries, operates two primary businesses: the marketing of medical products for infection control and for women's health; and the transportation of containerized cargo from South Florida to the Caribbean.
