ALCO INTERNATIONAL GROUP INC. ANNOUNCES SETTLEMENT SAN DIEGO, June 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Alco International Group Inc.
(NASDAQ: ALIG) today announced the settlement of the litigation between Alco, its wholly owned subsidiary, Alco Marine Agents Inc., Paul A. Church and Russell P. McCain as Defendants and Counter Claimants Lebron Shields, Plaintiff. This settlement, in which both sides completely released each other with prejudice, was effected at no cost to Alco or its subsidiaries. The litigation is being dismissed, entirely.
Alco also announced the settlement of the litigation entitled Robert Shovick, Dallard Clark, Lebron Shields, Curtis Simmons Sr. and Joseph Butchinski (the "plaintiffs") v. Alco, a Florida corporation and Alco Marine Agents Pension Plan and Trust, Russell P. McCain, Mary P. Green (the "defendants"). This settlement, in which both sides completely released each other with prejudice, was effected at no cost to Alco or its subsidiaries. The litigation is being dismissed, entirely. Alco, through its subsidiaries, operates two primary businesses: the marketing of medical products for infection control and for women's health; and the transportation of containerized cargo from South Florida to the Caribbean. -0- 6/12/92 /CONTACT: John E.
