 SEATTLE, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The following was released today by Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air:
 ALASKA AIRLINES NOVEMBER TRAFFIC RESULTS
 Alaska Airlines, a subsidiary of Alaska Air Group Inc. (NYSE, PSE: ALK), reported today that its November traffic increased 4 percent to 361.8 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs) from the 348.2 million flown a year earlier. The passenger load factor (the percentage of available seats occupied by fare paying passengers) for the month was 50.2 percent, compared to the 51.8 percent in November 1990.
 Capacity during November was 721.2 million available seat miles (ASMs), 7 percent higher than last year's 672.1 million. The airline carried 432,100 passengers in November compared to 432,000 in November 1990.
 For the 11 months ended November 1991, revenue passenger miles totaled 4.509 billion, a 10 percent increase from the 4.094 billion recorded a year earlier. The passenger load factor for the 11 months ended November 1991 was 56.3 percent, up from 53.5 percent for the prior year.
 Capacity for the eleven months ended November 1991 increased 5 percent to 8.014 billion, up from 7.654 billion in 1990. The airline carried 5,363,000 passengers, compared to 4,978,000 in 1990.
 HORIZON AIR'S NOVEMBER TRAFFIC UP 13 PERCENT
 Horizon Air, a subsidiary of Alaska Air Group Inc. (NYSE, PSE: ALK), reported today that its November traffic increased 13 percent to 33.8 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs) from the 29.8 million flown a year earlier. The passenger load factor (the percentage of available seats occupied by fare paying passengers) for the month was 52.3 percent, up from 49.2 percent recorded in November 1990.
 The airline carried 165,907 passengers in November, a 10 percent increase from the 151,083 carried in November 1990. Capacity during the month was 64.5 million available seat miles (ASMs), compared to 60.6 million in November 1990.
 For the 11 months ended Nov. 30, 1991, revenue passenger miles totaled 366.8 million, a 12 percent increase from the 326.3 million recorded a year earlier. The passenger load factor for the 11 months ended Nov. 30, 1991 was 51.1 percent, compared to 49.4 percent for 1990.
 Capacity (ASMs) for the 11 months ended Nov. 30, 1991 increased 9 percent to 717.9 million, up from 660.6 million flown in 1990. The airline carried 1,837,056 passengers through November 1991, up 11 percent from the 1,660,185 in 1990.
