ALAMAR ANNOUNCES THE HIRING OF FIRST SALES FORCE

SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Alamar Biosciences Inc. (NASDAQ: ALMRU), a research and development company specializing in the development, manufacturing and marketing of in vitro (outside the body) diagnostic testing products, announces the formation of its first sales force.
Alamar's chief executive officer, Kenneth D. Miller, said, "Alamar already has two test kits cleared by the FDA, and with the anticipated FDA clearance of the bacteria identification kit and semi-automated reading instrument in the coming weeks, we are ready to begin full-scale marketing and sales efforts." Miller said that the four products will address two-thirds of the $530 million worldwide bacterial identification and antibiotic dosage effectiveness market.
Miller said the Alamar sales team, consisting of six account managers, is prepared to sell the products to hospitals and reference laboratories throughout the United States.
