Aladdin Knowledge Systems (NASDAQ:ALDN), Chicago, a leader in Software DRM, identity management and content security solutions, has announced that Aladdin eSafe 5 achieved OPSEC(TM) (Open Platform for Security) certification from Check Point Software Technologies Ltd.(NASDAQ:CHKP).

eSafe 5 is Aladdin's award-winning, gateway-based antivirus, spyware control, Web browsing security and application filtering solution. Recognized by the industry as a leader in proactive security, eSafe provides organizations with truly integrated content protection. eSafe 5 received OPSEC certification after meeting rigorous standards validated by Check Point's thorough interoperability testing.

With this integration, eSafe has the ability to send all event logs and status information to Check Point's SmartCenter(TM) management server, allowing customers to view and analyze all security events and monitor the health of their antivirus gateway from Check Point's SmartCenter management console. Customers will enjoy the benefits of simplified management and quicker detection of potential problems.

"OPSEC certification with Aladdin's eSafe 5 insures our joint customers of seamless integration and interoperability between our products," said Amir Ben-Efraim, director of business development for Check Point Software Technologies. "Working with Aladdin via our OPSEC program enables us to provide integrated security solutions with leading vendors, so that our customers can stay continually updated and protected against the latest security events that threaten to plague their networks."

"Through our continued commitment to achieving OPSEC certification for all the latest eSafe solutions, Aladdin provides organizations with an even higher level of security, while also enhancing important monitoring and management capabilities through Check Point Firewall/VPN products," said Shimon Gruper, vice president of technologies for the Aladdin eSafe Business Unit.
