AKF Engineers, LLP announced that Dino DeFeo, PE, Robert O. Gibson, PE, Glen Neville, PE, LEE AP, and Michael P. Sammut, PE have been named partners.

Dino DeFeo, PE has been with AKF for over 12 years and is a licensed mechanical engineer in AKF's New York office. DeFeo graduated from Manhattan College where he received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He has provided management and engineering services specializing in healthcare, laboratory and infrastructure projects.

Robert O. Gibson, PE has been with AKF for over 12 years and is a licensed mechanical engineer in the New York office. Gibson is a graduate of Villanova University and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has provided management and design services specializing in critical systems for financial institutions and heads up the mechanical commissioning team for AKF's Commissioning Group.

Glen Neville is a licensed Electrical Engineer in AKF's New York office and has over 17 years of experience in the practice of engineering design, field-testing and commissioning of critical systems. Neville is a LEED(R) 2.1 Accredited Professional and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University. His commissioning and troubleshooting experience include extensive work on multi-module UPS systems, static switches, generator paralleling systems, grounding systems, medium voltage switchgear, protective relaying systems, and low voltage switchgear installations.

Michael P. Sammut, PE has been with AKF for over seven years and is a licensed mechanical engineer in the New York office. He is also licensed in the states of Connecticut, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, Virginia and Wisconsin. Sammut holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and attended Harvard University for additional graduate courses. With over 31 years of experience in facility mechanical systems, which include institutional and commercial building projects, Sammut has worked as both a design engineer and a contractor, offering a strong overall perspective on mechanical/electrical systems.
