AJK traders body for liberal regime to promote cross-LOC trade.

MIRPUR (AJK) -- Seeking a liberal regime to promote cross-LoC trade by Kashmiri traders from both sides of the Line of Control, Central President Markazi Anjuman e Tajran (Ittehad Group) Ch. Mahmood has called for due facilities to make bilateral Cross-LoC trade vibrant for maximum exchange and promotion of locally-made products between Azad Jammu Kashmir and the Indian occupied Kashmir.

Speaking at a oath-taking ceremony of office bearers of his organization here late Saturday, Mahmood also emphasized the need for raising the existing number of items permitted for exchange of trade between the Line of Control through the weekly trans-LoC trade.

Ch. Mahmood Ahmed reiterated his resolve to make Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran (Ittehad Group) a vibrant institution to protect the due rights and to get the long standing problems of the local business community resolved in letter and spirit.

After a major change in the office bearers of Markazi Anjuman e Tajran (Ittehad Group), Mirpur, the newly-nominated office bearers of the organization took the oath of their respective offices here on Saturday.

The organizations Central President Ch. Mahmood Ahmed administered oath to the newly-inducted office bearers including Mirza Ejaz Hussain (Chief Organiser), Haji Khalid Rasheed Satti, Javed Butt and Baniyamin Ansari (Supreme heads of their respective local units), Tallat Mahmood (Vice Preident), Shiraz Ahmed (Gen. Secretary), Amjad Mahmood Janjua (Deputy Gen. Secretary), Pervez Iqbal Butt (Vice President) and Mohammad Fazil (Finance Secretary).

Advisor to AJK Prime Minister Ch. Haq Nawaz, PPP AJK leader Ch. Waqaas Ashraf, Young People Lawyer Forum leader Usman Munir Sanwala Advocate, Shiraz Ahmed and others also addressed the ceremony.
